Fellow Americans, Have You Ever Truly Contemplated Not Being Number One?

Every American reading this has a unique and special role to play in the future of America. The challenge laid before us is whether we can unite as one unit and dominate the emerging global economy or not. We are a generation that perhaps has the greatest challenge our country has ever faced looking us right in the eyes and waiting for a response. The challenge is far less definable than one major war. This current battle we face is economic one with very complex fronts with political, financial, and economic components.

Do you not think its happening already? After the invention of nuclear weapons, big countries became unable to fight directly because this would cause mutual annihilation. Notice that all wars after the invention of the atomic bomb have been proxy wars. When contemplating both of our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, where do you think the enemy groups get the money they need to operate? They need funding to purchase weapons, food, paying off locals to have safe-houses, and sending money home to their familys. A proxy war is the most foolish war to be involved in. The reason for this is that you never actually fight the powers behind the enemy so it never ends. We need to adopt a policy to keep out of money draining proxy wars, especially as we get our debt down.

We give emerging markets advantages that put our American manufacturing companies and workers at huge disadvantages. In the interests of big short term profits, our politicians and corporations failed to act in the best interests of the country and have left us with few good employment opportunities now. Now that they shipped our jobs out, its a little hard to get them back. The rest of the world will buy their cheaper stuff over ours so it is now hard to export globally. If we demand the removal of all trade barriers that put our American workers and companies at a disadvantage, we will be off to a good start. In addition, we need to work with US based multinational corporations so that it is advantageous for them to hire workers here.

Finally, and most importantly we need to stop falling for the persuasions of those that divide us. Every congressional politician should know enough about world affairs to know that if we do not unite now, they will be ruling the second most powerful country in the world soon. Therefore, any politician who is not pursuing an attitude of constructive leadership is either not smart enough to realize the big picture of too selfish to care.

Our politicians need to all be put on notice that as American citizens we will no longer allow ourselves to be swindled out of the future paid for by those who have died for it. If they do not want to work together, we will use our lawful right to vote to remove every single one of them.
