NavigatetheZoo.com Brings You, “Made in America”

Hey navigatethezoo readers, I am in a big undertaking to add a new section called, “Made in America.” I am in the process of interviewing several quality small businesses from around the country right now. I am looking for any small businesses that manufacture products solely in America. However, if you have been forced to import some components due to a lack of availability, I would like to hear from you also.

I will profile your business on www.navigatethezoo.com and link to you website if you have one. Before I post the article, I will email it to you so that you can make sure you’re comfortable with all of the information in it.

I firmly believe the tides are changing and Americans are recognizing the importance of supporting businesses that make their products here. Despite the traitorous ramblings of Wall Street and our sold out politicians, most of us sense that it is not a good thing that we import almost all of our goods now. This is not just about creating good jobs; it is also about national security. We do not even make a large portion of our military hardware here anymore.

I want to hear about any troubles and challenges you face as a small American manufacturer. Topics like selling to other countries, anti-US tax loopholes, raw materials issues, ect, would be great. Or if you have something specific that nobody is talking about, that’s why I need to get your experience in print.
